Today I’m sharing about a topic that weighs on my heart when it comes to the conversation around eating disorders and ‘food.’ It even springs to my mind when I’m scrolling through Pinterest, and the term ‘guilt-free’ catches my eye. And… I really don’t like it.
This runs through my head often, especially when I’m tempted to judge other people or be down on myself for eating a certain food because it’s ‘bad,’ or it makes me feel guilty.
Why is there a guilt stigma around certain foods like a bread with butter vs. bread with no butter or a bread with sugar or a bread with honey?
Hmm… let’s talk about it.
